CheapMF is an amazing new service which aims to help iPhone users in their shopping. Imagine you are out shopping and you run across a product that you might be interested in, you really have no way of knowing if it’s good or priced competitively. CheapMF let’s you quickly search for the product, read customer reviews and even buy it from Amazon.com if it’s cheaper than in the store. You can browse by categories, or use the search option to find the product you are looking for. Pretty fast and neat, using simply PHP and AWS in addition to prototype for AJAX functionalities.

If you are digg addicted, David Cann have written a Digg interface for iPhone. The application available for download is written in PHP and using YUI and the Digg API. Usage is pretty simple, Use your mouse to drag the lists up and down, then try to flick them like you’re supposed to on the iPhone. The back button on the phone is also enabled.

iPhone Chat App, AIM only!

The first chat application for iPhone is AIM only, I wished if there was implementation from web messenger services such Meebo or eBuddy. This is one of the most requested AJAX application for iPhone, and certainly we will see more development in the very near future. Most important is to run it on robust server, because the current iChat seems to be experimental, sessions are limited to 10 minutes.

Use your mouse to flick (drag and release) your buddy list up and down like you’re supposed to on the iPhone. Click a buddy to start a conversation. You can open multiple conversations… flick left/right to change conversations. Currently there is no groups support, No buddy icons, and Opening more than 4 conversations gets unruly.
